The proper handling of waste requires special technical, administrative, and legal knowledge. BIG develops economically and ecologically appropriate disposal and recycling concepts or remediation strategies based on its interdisciplinary operation method for different industrial and municipal wastes, contaminated soils and other mineral waste.

In the area of landfill construction, BIG is active in project management, planning and construction supervision. The current topics of

• closing and securing old landfills,
• the improvement of currently operated sites and
• the remediation of landfills and old dump sites

are BIG's strengths.

BIG has obtained special experiences in the area of technical security concepts and attendance as well as studies related to the organization of waste management facilities.
